View Larry Hance's Biography
Larry Hance began mediating family law disputes in 1990. He has mediated many family law matters and has been able to keep a high settlement rate. His initial training was in the caucus, positional bargaining model, which he found to be limiting and inappropriate for most families. After taking a several year hiatus from mediating, he attended two additional advanced mediation trainings: The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Advanced Mediation Training in 1999; and the Harvard Law School Negotiation Project Advanced Mediation Training in 2000. With this additional training and independent research he has done in the area of negotiation and problem-solving, Larry is excited to be mediating once again. His philosophy of mediation is set out in the section titled Mediation: Philosophy. His general experience and training which lead to his ability to successfully mediate family law disputes are set out in The Firm section-Attorney and Staff Profiles.
